Hachette HQ

Thoughtspace was asked to redesign Hachette Australia’s Sydney office. The brief was to create a relaxed and informal collegiate feel for the new space, which would be welcoming for their staff, writers, editors and other visitors. The booth seating creates intimate pockets for meetings and the overall space is softened by the use of timber and fabrics. The feature pendant lights cleverly use pages from Hachette’s fiction titles to celebrate their books.

Thoughtspace were shortlisted in the IDEA awards for the project.

Dark Chocolate

It's not often these days you can create rich, dark and decadent sets for photography. There’s a demand for light, bright and healthy food, so when I received the brief from Mindfood Magazine to create a moody feel for this chocolate shoot I jumped at it.

Sarah Hobbs’ extravagant chocolate recipes were art in themselves and with Jane Hahn’s beautiful food styling the end result was mouthwatering - and of course everything was devoured at the end.
